Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out how you may and may not use eduvise.ai and its tools (the "Platform"), operated by Eduvise AI Private Limited. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. By using the Platform you agree to follow this AUP.

2. You Must Not

Break any applicable law, or infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in your profile, booking form, or resume.
Harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, or abuse tutors, experts, staff, or other users.
Use AI answers to cheat in examinations, or submit AI-generated work as your own in breach of academic-integrity rules.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, crawl, clone, or copy our AI models, platform code, or content.
Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Platform, or bypass access controls and security measures.
Upload or transmit malware, viruses, spam, or automated bots without our written consent.
Impersonate any person or entity, including Eduvise staff, tutors, or other users.
Use the Platform to build or train a competing product or service.
Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

3. Prohibited Content (IT Rules, 2021)

In line with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not host, upload, share, or transmit information that:

  • belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
  • is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, or invasive of another's privacy;
  • is harmful to a child;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right;
  • is deceptive or misleading about its origin, or knowingly false or grossly offensive;
  • impersonates another person;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or incites any offence;
  • contains a software virus or any code designed to harm computer resources.

4. Consequences of Breach

If you breach this AUP, we may remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate your account — with notice where practicable. Paid credits or sessions remaining at the time of a suspension for a violation may be forfeited, as set out in our Terms. Where warranted, we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful requests.

5. Reporting Misuse

To report content or conduct that breaches this AUP, contact our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, in line with the IT Rules, 2021. See our Grievance Redressal page for full details.
