1. Parties to This Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between:

By accessing eduvise.ai or submitting a booking form, you confirm you are at least 13 years old, have read these Terms in full, and agree to be bound by them. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Our Services

Eduvise currently offers the following services:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice. Where a paid service is discontinued, affected users will receive a full refund for unused credits.

3. Eligibility & Account Responsibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use Eduvise. Users under 18 should have parental/guardian awareness.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and current information when booking sessions or creating a resume.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others.
• You must notify us immediately at consulting@eduvise.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One user = one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Eduvise to:

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and/or legal action where warranted.

5. AI Content — Important Disclaimer

• AI responses may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect.
• For competitive exam preparation, always cross-check syllabus and eligibility from official NTA/CBSE/IIT JEE/NEET authority websites.
• Eduvise is not liable for academic outcomes based solely on AI-generated content.
• When an AI answer is uncertain, we recommend connecting with a live tutor for verification.

6. Tutors, Experts & Sessions

• Tutors and career experts on Eduvise are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Eduvise AI Private Limited.
• We verify tutor credentials and conduct background checks, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes from any session.
• Sessions are conducted via WhatsApp, Zoom, or Google Meet — as agreed between you and the expert.
• You must be respectful and professional during all sessions. Sessions may be monitored for quality assurance with prior notice.
• You may not record sessions without the explicit written consent of the expert.
• If you are unsatisfied with a session, contact us within 48 hours for resolution. See our Refund Policy.

7. Payments, Pricing & Taxes

• Free services (basic Resume Builder, limited AI questions) require no payment and no credit card.
• Paid services are priced per session or per feature. Prices are displayed clearly before checkout.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking.
• We do not store your card details. Razorpay is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
• Receipts/invoices are available on request. Contact us at consulting@eduvise.ai.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on eduvise.ai — including the AI model, platform software, design, logo, brand name "Eduvise", course content, and text — is the intellectual property of Eduvise AI Private Limited or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

Your content: Resume content, questions, and uploads you provide remain your property. By submitting content, you grant Eduvise a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it solely to deliver our services to you. We will never use your resume or questions for marketing, training data sales, or any purpose beyond service delivery without explicit consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Eduvise AI Private Limited's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Eduvise in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of data; academic or career outcomes; decisions made based on AI-generated content; or third-party service failures (WhatsApp, Zoom, Razorpay, etc.).

10. Termination

By you: You may stop using Eduvise at any time. To delete your account and data, email us at consulting@eduvise.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements).

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or where required by law. We will provide notice where possible. Paid credits/sessions remaining at the time of suspension for a violation will be forfeited. If we terminate for reasons unrelated to your conduct, we will issue a full refund of unused credits.

11. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you of material changes to these Terms at least 14 days in advance via email or prominent in-app notice. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your account before the effective date.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. In the event of a dispute:

1. Step 1 — Direct resolution: Contact us at consulting@eduvise.ai. We aim to resolve all disputes within 15 business days.
2. Step 2 — Mediation: If unresolved, parties agree to attempt mediation in Bangalore, Karnataka.
3. Step 3 — Courts: If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
